DIY Gift For Father’s Day FROM Kids

This DIY gift for Father’s Day, FROM kids, will have you ready in a snap!

With just a little help, your children can make this personalized pillow case in less then a hour.

Why Do I Love This DIY Project?

I love this DIY gift for Father’s Day because…

  • It can be given to and appreciated by many family members (not just daddy)
  • It’s a practical gift that can be used regularly by anybody
  • It has sentimental value
  • It can be made by kids of all ages
  • It’s a gift that can be made for a very reasonable price
  • It can be appreciated by minimalist family’s
  • And also by relatives who travel or are currently far away
  • It can be appreciated and used by those who don’t need anything
  • It can be shipped super easy if need be!

To make this personalized pillow case cover…

You Will Need

  • 1 white or light colored pillow case
  • One pack of permanent fabric markers
  • 1 pillow (optional)

Directions

1. Lay down some type of protector like cardboard. The best way to do this would be to place your protectant inside of the pillow case to prevent the ink from leaking to the other side of case, whilst protecting your table also. I skipped this step and I did have this problem.

Note- If you will fit cardboard snug enough, it can double as step #2

2. (Optional) Next, you want to stabilize your pillow case in some way to keep the fabric from slipping while writing. This can be done in many ways . Here are a few ideas.

  • Secure case inside of a sewing loom
  • Tape sides down to counter (be carful if you have a wooden table!)
  • hold fabric down on each side while your kids color 😂 (this was my choice, I don’t recommend it lol)
  • Fit the cardboard used for step one inside your pillow case snugly (recommended!).

3.Now that your pillow case is secure, you are ready to make your DIY gift for daddy ! Grab your fabric marks (make sure they are permanent) and outline some “bubble” letters into a adorable grandparent approved phrase, you could use stencils in this step if you would like . If your kids are older, they can do this Part on their own or they could write a loving note along with there own designs or drawing instead.

Now For The Fun!

4.Grab the kiddos and get to coloring! This personalization is what makes this gift for Daddy so special. I had my children (ages 2&4) color one side each, then I signed there names to the corresponding sides.

5. Be sure to read the back of your fabric markers and follow the instructions to “set ink” and now you are all set!

I just love how these turned out! The pictures really don’t do them justice.

Do you need some more DIY grandparent gift ideas ?

Here are a few of my past favorite grandparent gift ideas. Most of these are either DIY or personalized in some sort of way, great for the grandparent that doesn’t need anything !

  • Make your husbands favorite sweet treat
  • Put together a recipe in a jar
  • Make a memory box
  • Print a photo book from Shutterfly
  • Customize/ personalize useful items such as belts, wallets, money clips, mugs, cups,
  • Put together a gift basket full of useful items such as soaps , razors, body spray, etc.
  • Make a gift card bouquet filled with all of your husbands favorite restaurants
  • Gift an act of kindness (help them out in some way as a gift)
  • Gift a subscription

100+ Gift Ideas For Moms On Mothers Day

These 100+ gift ideas for moms, are broke down into 11 different categories and are here to get you thinking and planning, Enjoy!

Photo Gift Ideas For Moms

One of my favorite types of gifts to give to my Mother has to be “photo gifts”.

Each photo gift is as unique as it’s photo. Plus, who couldn’t love something with a photo of their child, grand baby, or pup plastered on it!

The two places I recommend to purchase photo gifts are wallmart.com and Shutterfly.com . And if you do not have access to a computer, Shutterfly has a great app you can download for free, making editing/ shopping via smart phone so much easier! They currently sell small photo books for 9.99 FREE SHIPPING! I made my dad one of our hunting adventures together and he LOVED it! I’ve also done a “my first year” with each page displaying each month of my babies first year, these were priceless.

Listed below are some of my faves in the “photo gift” category. But don’t stop here, pull up one of those sites for yourself and see the endless options! Seriously they are practically endless ❤️ Just remember, these take a little longer to have made so you will want to get them ordered ASAP!

Personalized, meaning some sort of writing has been added to an item, making it uniquely special to the receiver.

This can be done on so many items and in many different ways.

There are several places that offer personalized items for sale. Personally Wallmart.com is once again one of my favorite places to special order this type of item. Go directly to their website and enter personalized gifts in the Walmart search engine to see the multiple options they have to offer. You can also make many of these yourself.

‘Just for you’ Gift Ideas

Sometimes it really is the thought that counts and these “just for you” gift ideas for moms, will really COUNT!

Have you ever received something you really love that didn’t really cost that much? Even if it was just a giant bag of Hershey kisses…❤️❤️ If that is your favorite candy, it means SO MUCH MORE then just “candy”.

How about taking this “thoughtfulness” to the next level and making a gift basket, bag or box full of your mom’s favorite items.

Now that would be a pretty sweet gift to receive. 😎

Don’t have the time for that much detailed shopping and planning? You could purchase something they are specifically asking for or you can always do a gift card. 😉

Gifting Gift Cards

Here are a few fun ways to give gift cards to your Mother this Mothers day.

1. Place one or more gift cards inside of a new wallet. The ladies photo wallet from Shutterfly is my favorite.

2. Frame it! there are several cute framed gift card ideas on the internet now days “simply Google” for more inspiration in this area!

3. Give a gift card with a small gift to keep yourself from “just giving a gift card”. Tuck the card in a shirt sleeve, or use it as a name tag.

Useful Gift ideas

This tactic might be your answer if there is a specific item your mother is wanting. For example, I typically wouldn’t go purchase my mom a mop or broom for Christmas , but if I new for a fact that she really wanted a specific “mop” , vacuum attachment or even a certain vacuum, then yes this could be a great gift idea.

Useful gifts don’t always have to include work either. Other examples of useful gifts could be a new phone case, a summer wreath, or even a cute planner with matching pens .

Keep your ears and eyes open, you might be surprised what all is on their secret wish list .

Gift Ideas For Moms That Don’t Need Anything!

Maybe you are blessed with one of those loving Mothers who doesn’t need or want a thing! That’s great… until a holiday rolls around 😬🤷‍♀️.

If this explains your situation then this is your gift category! “ACTIONS”

How can you gift an Action?

You could ask your Mom what they need help with or you can choose something that they would love to do with you, giving them less chance to turn down the offer.

Some action gift ideas might include a day or evening of :

1. House cleaning

2.Cleaning out their car

3.Schedule a family photo shoot or do one yourself!

4.Help them clean out the building, attic, or spare room.

5.Commit an entire day to help with “whatever they want”.

6.Remodel

7.Bathe their pets

8.Do a paint job

9.Try out your organization on a room

10.Scan old Photos in

“Experience” Gift Ideas For Moms

Another option to replace a tangible gift would be the gift of “experiences”.

We often relate this gift to a child’s gift, like a zoo trip ect but it doesn’t need to stop with the kids, many adults (moms) like experiences too! I’ll never forget my first year married into the family, I planned a girls day out and me and my new sister in laws kidnaped my Mother In Law for an entire day. We planned all her favorite things and made her feel special. She has often brought up that day as one of her most treasured memories.

Here are a few “experiences” your mom (or Mother In Law) might enjoy. Consider typing up a formal invitation, coupon, or giving her a marked calendar to give this type of gift to her.

1. Take her out for dinner

2. Plan a one on one “mommy & me” date, like when you were young

3. Take your mom shopping

4. Enjoy their favorite hobby with them

5. Plan a Vacation for her or take them along on yours

6. Go to an escape room

7. Include them in a special family day, with their part “on the house”

8. Go see a new state

9. Enjoy a picnic at a local park

10. Rent a boat for the day

11. Make dinner for her

12. Plan a family get together

13. Live out of town? surprise her for the day

1. Many of the “action gifts” are great for those tight on finances. Remember it’s the thought that counts!

2. Are you the crafty type? Put that creativity to use. Even if your new to crafting, you tube has made it so much easier for beginners with many step by step video guides.

The Personalized gift category is a great place to start. You can personalize many things yourself using paint, etching cream, thread, iron on’s and Vynal applications.

You don’t have to have a Cricut to personalize things. Although if you do, your options just expanded!

3. If you order a gift, consider having it shipped directly to the receiver to save on shipping cost. Some companies even provide free gift wrapping, and many others offer it for a small fee.

4. Have some items you need to re-gift? Add them to a smaller gift or a gift basket to spruce it up!

5. Don’t forget to price match by doing a quick Google search to make sure you are saving as much as possible.

6.Once you have purchased your gifts, don’t forget to scan your receipts into FETCH REWARDS to save points that add up to real cash gift cards! I just exchanged some of this years points for a $25 apple gift card, that I got, just for scanning receipts!

What I love about FETCH is that you don’t have to go through and choose the rewards you want to use, you just scan the receipt & Fetch does it for you and to make it even better, you have 2 whole weeks to get your receipt submitted.

If you do not have Fetch you need to sign up before the holiday shopping begins, in case you do, here is my referral code. Use THIS LINK and we’ll both get 2,000 pts! https://fetchrewards.onelink.me/vvv3/referraltext?code=UNCBY

Tips On How To Make A Top Notch ‘DIY’ Gift Basket

With these tips you will no longer wonder how to make a top notch DIY gift basket, instead you will wonder for what occasion you can make your next one!

With Valentines Day around the corner, I thought I would take the moment to hit on some of my best DIY gift basket tips. These tips will leave you wondering how to make a gift basket no longer.

DIY gift baskets are so unique, they make all kinds of tiny gifts feel like one gift, they can be personalized for any person or occasion, and they are SO CUTE!

Here are my best “DIY gift basket” tips.

Getting started with your DIY gift basket

  • Set a budget Before you get started with a DIY gift basket , you will want to set a budget. Gift basket can get out of hand quite fast. Setting a budget, whether large or small, reminds you to distribute the money where you actually want it.
  • Choose a center piece I would not consider this a must for a good gift basket but I often like to choose one “nice” item to build my gift basket around. Something I know the person loves or something that is worth a little more then the other items (AKA “fillers”). This makes the basket carry some “value” but doesn’t break the bank by filling it full of expensive items. Remember, the center piece doesn’t necessarily have to cost a lot if it is something special the person will love without a doubt .
  • Now that you know the size of your “center piece” it is time to choose a basket. Choose a basket that your center piece will fit in, leaving a little extra space for fillers. You want your center piece to “stand out” and you don’t want to spend a fortune in fillers either. Keep in mind your budget for this gift basket and choose your basket size accordingly.
  • Do not waste a ton of money on a basket. Check your own home first for a basket to re-purpose. Keep in mind that many things can be used as baskets, not just your traditional basket. Matter of fact, theming your basket for the occasion or the receiver is a fun way to “up” your gift a notch. Consider items such as, organizers, crates, bins, bowls, tool boxes, toy dump truck, baby bath tub, and even a re-purposed box, as gift basket options. Other places to check for baskets is Dollar Tree, Dollar General, yard sales, second hand, and stores like TJ Maxx, Try not to waste a lot of money on your basket, especially if you can find a nice one discounted elsewhere. The exception here would be if your gift basket was part of the gift, like a baby tub, toy truck, or mixing bowl.

Filling your basket

  • Shop with your basket The advantage of purchasing a basket while you shop for fillers is being able have a visual as you place the items in your basket. This prevents over or under purchasing. If you are not shopping with your basket, that’s okay too. Just take a good look at your basket before you leave, or even better, take measurements. Before you begin shopping, grab a similar sized container or basket and use it as your fill in visual aid. *After doing a few baskets you will get better at guessing how much you need.
  • Keep Your receipts Note the return policies of the places you shop and keep your receipts. It’s hard to over buy for a gift basket, especially on a budget, but it can happen. If you keep your receipts, you can return extra items and it won’t matter a bit. You can also tuck away extra items for your next gift basket.
  • Make use of things you have Gift basket fillers are a great way to re-gift small items you don’t need. Be sure the item is top quality and that it is actually something the person will use before you re-gift it.
  • DIY basket fillers DIY basket fillers are a great way to personalize a gift basket and in some cases, save some money.
  • Stick to useful items If you want your basket to truly be appreciated, stick to basket fillers that will actually be used. It’s so easy to stuff a basket full of cute what- knots but unless you know the person extremely well, this method may not be best option. A friend we visit occasionally made me & my children a gift basket this past week. I was so impressed by her selection. No, it was not full of adorable homemade items or even expensive stuff but it literally contained nothing that I would not use. Considering we are not around each other very much and we do not even talk regularly, this amazed me. I paid close attention to the items, making a mental note for my future basket making. In the basket she had included things like; hand sanitizer, kid friendly snacks, an adorable note book, a set of pens, kid friendly sanitizing wipes, mints, reusable sticker books for each child, Slim Jim’s, bobby pins, some fancy chocolates etc.
  • Try dollar store I love shopping at Dollar Tree for gift basket fillers. They have unique items in small packages for a cheap price. It’s true that lotion may be cheaper at Walmart per oz but the fact is, you don’t need a $4 bottle of lotion for most gift baskets. The same goes for many categories. Dollar stores also carries many items such as mugs for much cheaper than most convenience stores.
  • Stay away from tiny fillers Unless you have a large budget, I recommend staying away from super tiny basket fillers. You want small to medium size fillers that will accent your center objects while filling all of the space in the basket easily. A FULL gift basket should be your goal for top notch appearance and to do that you will need to get the most “bang” from your “buck”.
  • Set a base inside your DIY basket A base is basically a “platform” in the bottom on your basket. This lifts the items up to be more viable and gives a much more “full” impression. You can make a base out of a small upside down box or even wadded up news paper. Be sure to cover your base with tissue paper or something similar when you are done.

Putting it all together

  • Secure your items Securing your items makes sure your beautiful basket stays put together and allows you to display the items in a more “spread out” or upward direction. You can use double sided scotch tape, packaging tape, hot glue, and glue dots to secure your items in their best displayed positions.
  • Fill in any gaps You can fill gaps, add color, and stable items by filling in all of the gaps with coordinating tissue paper. You can also display tissue paper behind the gifts as a sort of backdrop.
  • Wrap your basket Wrapping your DIY gift basket in a clear gift basket bag or cellophane is a sure way to professionalize your gift. For smaller to medium size gift baskets, I recommend Dollar Tree’s heat shrink gift basket bag. You CAN’T beat the price or quality! All you need is a hair dryer and this $1 bag for an amazing display.
  • Add a bow Adding a bow to your DIY gift basket is like adding the icing on the cake. Well… it’s more like the rose lol. I would say the cellophane bag is more like the icing. But either way, the bow sort of ‘pulls it all together’. If you purchase a bag kit like Dollar Tree’s you may find that it includes a bow, SCORE! I do like to add a little of my own ribbon or twine to the included white bows. Tie on a gift card, if you want to get really fancy!

Giving To Others On A Simple Budget (+personal testimony)

I have a friend who desired to give more to her church. Being frugal, she literally wrote a book and allows all the proceeds to go towards the church!

This friend challenged me so much. If she could spend hours upon hrs of her time and talent just so she could GIVE more, what more could I be doing in the giving category?

First of all, let’s talk about why we should give.

Most of us would agree that giving is the “right” thing to do…

The characteristics of a Christian, listed in Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV),

are all of the giving type. Love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. As a Christian, it should be natural for us to give in all aspects of our lives. Whether it be giving mercy and patience or food and clothes, we should know from personal experience that Acts 20:35 speaks truth.

Acts 20:35 (KJV)

……and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Who Should I Give To?

Jesus Himself set the ultimate example. He gave Himself as a sacrifice to all mankind. It is up to us to receive the gift, but HE GAVE FOR ALL.

It’s so easy to give to our family and friends. But, how about those others…. those who don’t necessarily “deserve” it in our eyes. God sees them all the same and so should we. For we are called to be a light for Christ.

What if I’m On A Budget Or Broke?

So many times we let our budget rule our giving. Although budgets can limit our giving, I do think we often stop short.

I highly recommend reconsidering your budget for possible ways to include giving. I don’t believe you will regret it.

On the other hand, it’s true money is a HUGE help in the giving area but in reality, money is not the only thing available to give. In some cases, these things can be even more of a sacrifice to give than purchased items.

Other ways to give

•Cook a meal or dish with left over ingredients

•Do some needed yard work for free (mow or weed flower beds)

•Shovel snow

•Send a ‘thinking of you’ card

•Call or send a friendly txt just to do it

•Give Used Items.

Do you have an unused item that you know someone else would love to have or needs? Instead of selling it, consider passing it on.

Have income besides money? Maybe you have chickens or a garden, consider giving away some of your “income” to those in need.

Do you make items as a side gig or hobby? Dresses, hair bows, cakes, woodwork, the list goes on of DIY talents people have. Think about giving one of your homemade items away every once in awhile, as a form of giving.

Help your kids make something A note, card, or craft handmade by your children’s hands would be adored by many of your acquaintances .

You may not raise a garden but do you have wild fruit on your property? Come harvest time, bag them babies up and pass them on. Even if you don’t love green apples or wild blackberries, somebody does! You can go a step farther and turn your free fruit into preserves or pies to gift.

Don’t miss an opportunity to give!

I Tried Out Giving God, It DON’T Work!

(Personal Testimony)

A couple years after me and my husband married, we lived on a very tight budget. Mark’s part time hours had been lower than usual and we had decided to attend a neighboring churches homecoming service about an hour away that week.

To get there, we drove my husband’s old work car, (easier on gas) and we had exactly $22 left, to top the car off for the remainder work week.

As the offering plate came around , I felt my husband look at me. We both knew the amount in his wallet and we both felt like giving. I simply shrugged my shoulders. Deep inside I felt like giving the $20 but I couldn’t bring myself to say it I secretly hoped he would go ahead and make the hard decision. My husband, a sensitive man, did. He put the $20 bill in.

After church, I was approached by a grandmotherly sister I hadn’t seen in several months. She hugged me and explained how her and her husband had us on their minds and had been wanting to see us to give us something…. it was $100 dollars! I could barely contain the emotion! This dear sister had no idea what we was going through, nor that we had just given our gas money away. God was indeed proving Himself to me. I said, Thank you, gave her another hug, and simply said, “You have no idea”.

A few minutes later, in the fellowship hall, this same sister and her husband walked over to me. I tried thanking them again but before I could get it out, he was shaking his head and said that the Lord has spoke to him and said “it wasn’t enough”, he then handed me yet another $100 bill. He explained to me how he had not given the right amount in the first place and he was so sorry. I was dumbfounded.

As we left that day, I was overflowing with words of joy as I explained every detail to my husband and we shared the special moment of God’s blessings and faithfulness.

When I was done, my husband had his own side to tell…. he had been offered a new job after as a scaffold builder after service. A full time job, working for a holiness friend. He would start out bringing home over 3x times the amount he had brought home this week.

Once again, I was in awe. I’ve never believed I could out give God since.

I challenge you to let your light shine through your giving!

If you already give regularly, how about giving more?

Believe me .. you

CAN’T OUT-GIVE GOD!!

Note- please contact me here or below for more info on how to get one of my friends devotional books.

All proceeds will be going to her church , yep you heard me right… so, head on over and buy yourself & someone else one too! Would make a great gift! ❤️

PHOTO GIFTS One of my favorite gifts to give to my mother & mother in-law would have to be “photo gifts”.

Each photo gift is as unique as it’s photo’s.

Plus, who couldn’t love something with a photo of their child, grand baby, or pup plastered on it!

The two places I recommend purchasing photo gifts are wallmart.com and Shutterfly.com . If you do not have access to a computer, Shutterfly has a great app you can download for free, making editing/shopping via smart phone so much easier!

Listed below are some of my faves in the “photo gift” category. But don’t stop here, pull up one of those sites for yourself and see the endless options! Seriously they are practically endless ❤️

  1. Photo blanket
  2. Photo book (aka digital scrapbook)
  3. Phone/iPad/laptop case
  4. Photo keychain
  5. Canvas portrait
  6. Photo wallet
  7. Wall calendar
  8. Mouse pad
  9. Portable phone charger
  10. Canvas tote bag

PERSONALIZED GIFTS

My second favorite type of gift would have to be “personalized gifts”.

Here are a few personalized options that are commonly found.

  1. Door mat
  2. Mug
  3. Clothing ( hat, shirt, pjs, etc.)
  4. kitchen dishes & cookware
  5. Bumper stickers
  6. Dish towel & hot pad
  7. Apron
  8. Soap dispenser
  9. Casserole dish carrier
  10. Pillow cases

Just for you gifts

Sometimes it really is the thought that counts.

Have you ever received something you really loved wich didn’t have much cash value? Even if it was just a giant bag of Hershey kisses…❤️❤️ If that is your favorite candy, it meant SO MUCH MORE then just “candy” because they thought about you.

How about taking this “thoughtfulness” to the next level and making a gift basket, bag or box full of mom’s favorite items.

Now that would be a pretty cool gift to receive. ????

Mabey you don’t have the time for that much detailed shopping and planning. You can always purchase a favorite hobby accessory or, a gift card to a favorite restaurant or store.

Here are a few fun ways to give gift cards!

1. Place one or more gift cards inside of a new wallet. (The photo wallet from Shutterfly is my favorite.) ❤️

2. Tie a gift card around a vase of flowers with some cute ribbon. ????

3. Frame it! there are several cute framed gift card ideas on the internet nowadays “simply google” for more inspiration in this area!

4. Forget the candy, how about a gift card bouquet? You could even add some candy too! This would make a great craft / diy project.

5. Give a gift card with a small gift. This is a great opportunity to re-gift something. And now you’re not “just giving a gift card”

Useful gifts –

This tactic might be your answer if there is a specific item your mother is wanting. For example, I typically wouldn’t go purchase my mom a mop or broom for Mother’s Day, but if I new for a fact that she really wanted a specific vacuum attachment or even a certain vacuum, then yes this could be a great gift idea.

Useful gifts don’t always have to include work either. Other examples of useful gifts could be a new phone case, a summer wreath, or even a cute planner with matching pens .

Keep your eyes and ears open, you might be surprised what all is on their secret wish list .

The Action Gift –

Maybe you are blessed with a loving mother who doesn’t need or want a thing! That’s great until a holiday rolls around ????????‍♀️.

If this explains your situation then an “action gift”might help.

How can you gift an no action?

You could ask your recipient what they need help with. Or you can choose something yourself that they would love done, giving them less chance to turn down the offer.

Some favor ideas might include an day or evening of :

1. household chores

2. working in flowerbeds

3. washing their car

4. gardening

5. cook a dinner (don’t forget clean

up )????

6. schedule a family photo shoot or do

one yourself!

7.plan a mother daughter date.

That’s right, you take mom out!

You could :

-take her to lunch (on you)

-plan a day at her favorite lake or park

-plan a special family get together

-plan a shopping spree

You probably know what your mom loves to do more then anyone. Just remember, she will love it even more if you’re doing it with her!

What if I live far away??

If you live with some distance between you. Planning a surprise visit would probably beat most gifts on this gift list.

Don’t feel like it has to be exactly Mother’s Day to visit. I have been living 4hrs from my parents now for almost 8yrs.

During this time,I have learned you can celebrate anything anytime. As long as you celebrate together ❤️. And for those times you don’t get to be together, (yes it happens) that’s ok to.

Make the best of it and remember to cherish the times you do have together even more.

Can’t get away? What about sending a little piece of you or the grandkids her way.

You could:

1. bake a batch of cookies, wrap & seal them tightly and send them via 2day priority mail for a very reasonable price.

(Tip: keep the packaging as padded and as small as possible , bulky items cost much more to ship.) What Mom wouldn’t love spending Mother’s Day eating cookies made by her babies?

2. How about you and the grandkids handpicking some flowers and sending them her way ?

Pick some very small flowers (field flowers are great) AKA “little weeds” ????.

Dry them out by placing them neatly between two sheets of paper towels and setting a heavy object on top. Once dry, (usually a few days) laminate them onto a beautiful homemade bookmark.

Bookmark could include a printed mother’s quote, handwritten note, drawing from the grandkids, family photo, or even a bible verse.

Send with the latest book from her favorite author for bonus points!

* This tiny flower was completely dried out in only 3 days.

Don’t let Mother’s Day slip up on you this year!

Take some time to plan something special.

We could never repay the time they have taken for us ❤

Enjoy the challenge and get to work!

Hope this article helps you to get started (if you haven’t already)

$ Simple Tips To Save! $

1. Many of the “action gifts” are great for times when finances are tight. Keep in mind ”it’s the thought that counts!”

2. Are you the crafty type? Put that creativity to use. Even if you’re new to crafting, YouTube has made it so much easier for beginners with many step by step video guides available.

Personalized gifts are a great place to start. You can personalize many things yourself using paint, etching cream, thread, iron on’s, wood burner, and Vynal applications.

You don’t have to have a cricut to personalize things. Although if you do, your options just expanded!

* Here are a couple DIY personalization projects I’ve done in the past. I do not take credit for quotes used. Original sources unknown.

3. If you order a gift, consider having it shipped directly to the receiver. Some companies even provide free gift wrapping and most offer it for a small fee.

4. Have some items you need to re-gift? Add them to a smaller gift or gift basket to spruce it up!

5. Lastly, price match. Do a quick google search to make sure you are saving as much as possible.
